Who we are

bina is an EdTech startup headquartered in Berlin (and working globally). We are a digital education ecosystem offering live, comprehensive, personalised education for 4–10 year-olds from across the globe, at scale.

bina is being built in two phases:

The bina School operates as a comprehensive, synchronous, international primary school marketed directly to families and in partnership with firms. In addition, it is a cost-effective site for the development of bina products and brand.

bina-as-a-service offers accredited programme materials and teacher training. It is licensed globally to governments, and NGOs, as well as public and private educational systems.

Who we are looking for

Someone who is an experienced recruitment/sales professional to take the lead on our admissions processes, helping drive the growth of The bina School. You will have experience working in education or a similar industry, ideally within a growing or start-up environment. You will be comfortable working with a recognised CRM, preferably Hubspot, and experience in both B2C and B2B would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will take control of our admissions/sales pipeline, and will help develop our processes further so that we engage and delight our prospects throughout their journey to becoming bina families. Ideally, the admissions manager would act as a point-of-contact for our incoming families, and would coordinate with other teams to ensure that this impact is felt throughout the onboarding processes and throughout their time with bina.

The role would fit an education sales professional looking to take the next step in their career, or an appetite to lead a small team would be preferable as bina looks to grow very soon!

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of our admission/sales process - driving new sales for our product

  • Lead and maintain our CRM from a sales perspective, including pipeline management and owning targets

  • Understand the key drivers that affect decision making for our customers - develop strategies to manage and communicate to wider team regularly

  • Involvement in online campaigns and events to drive recruitment (Open Days etc)

  • Drive our customer relationship management and retention tools

  • Closely monitor market and competition and always stay one step ahead

  • We are a remote first company, so we want you to take initiative and ownership of your tasks.

  • 3+ years experience of direct sales experience in an international setting

  • Experience in the education industry with demonstrated understanding of the admissions process

  • Fluent in English, and any additional languages are a plus

  • Experience managing and motivating a small sales team or individuals

  • Experience working with Hubspot CRM

  • A customer-focused nature dedicated to quality with built-in cultural awareness

  • An ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines and perform under pressure

  • Ability to fit into a fast-growing environment - be able to cope with the uncertainties of a start-up and see them as part of the company’s rapid development (entrepreneurial spirit is a plus!)

Brownie points if:

  • Experience with B2B sales, alongside B2C

What we are responsible for:

  • A problem and mission-driven company

  • All the expected goodies of an early-stage startup.

  • A transparent and friendly company culture.

  • Freedom to learn and participate in company strategy and growth

  • Work closely with the founders and management team

  • Be a part of a company that is trying to do the right thing and make a difference
