We are looking for applicants who can start in Feb-March 2026 and can work full-time in Afro-European timezones (GMT +0:00 to GMT +2:00) or Eastern Timezone (GMT -3:00 to GMT -5:00). This is a fully remote position.

We're curating an intuitive educational experience by integrating Ed-tech tools, research, and content. It's a sleek schooling experience for students, educators, and families.
You'll be the operational backbone of bina, building and managing the financial infrastructure that enables smart, data-driven decision-making across the organization. Initially, you'll focus on establishing robust financial systems — budgeting, forecasting, modeling, compliance, and reporting. Once these foundations are in place, some of your time will shift to optimizing operational KPIs and creating visibility into company-wide performance.
This role is designed to grow with bina. As we scale, you'll evolve from foundational operator to strategic leader — potentially growing into a C-level role as the company expands.
- Lead on defining core financial benchmarks and success metrics
- Serve as the principal supplier of financial information for internal leadership and external stakeholders, including current and potential investors
- Lead financial reporting through monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and annual statutory requirements
- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, plan vs. fact analysis, and monthly performance reviews
- Establish efficient processes with external service providers (e.g., accountants, payroll providers)
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including invoicing, payroll, reimbursements, and compliance — supported by external providers (accountants, fractional financial specialists/controllers)
- Design and maintain a global performance dashboard providing real-time visibility into company-wide operations
- Define, track, and optimize operational KPIs across teams (school operations, family care, family success, etc.)
- Support cross-functional teams with data analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Provide analytical support for decision-making across the organization
- Take responsibility for challenging the business based on data and driving a financially focused mindset.
- Lead and manage strategic operational projects that drive efficiency and support company growth
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve operational performance
- Build scalable systems and workflows that grow with the organization
- Partner with team leads to implement data-driven improvements across school operations and family services
- Introduce and maintain automation tools to reduce manual work and increase accuracy
- Continuously improve workflows to ensure scalability as bina grows
- Experience in strategy/management consulting
- Track record of delivering high quality, timely cross functional financial and operational analytics
- Experience in financial & operational systems management, process automation, and data stewardship will be a great plus
- Passion for data-driven decision-making and systems thinking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and ability to follow through multiple projects at the same time
- Comfortable operating in a start-up environment
- Having experience with agentic AI, no-code automations is a plus
- Annual compensation of $60-85k USD
